Terms of service

These terms govern your use of ReviewFighters.com, a website and trade name of Sword & Shield, PLLC (“the firm”). Last updated October 11, 2026.

1. No attorney-client relationship until confirmed

Browsing the site, sending a form, creating an account, buying a plan or submitting a review does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. The firm runs a conflict check and confirms representation when it accepts an assignment (shown on your dashboard as “Working on it”). Until then, do not rely on the firm to protect any deadline, and do not send information you consider privileged beyond what is needed to describe the review.

2. The service

For each review the firm accepts, the engagement is limited to: an attorney evaluation of whether the content is actionable defamation; if it is, a cease-and-desist and retraction demand to the posting party and a legal removal request to the hosting platform; progress reporting; and a closing report. Litigation, subpoenas, injunctions and work outside that scope require a separate written engagement and fee agreement.

3. Plans and fees

4. Your responsibilities

You confirm that the information and files you upload are accurate and that you have the right to share them; that you are the person or an authorised representative of the business defamed; and that the statements you identify as false are, to your knowledge, false. The firm relies on what you tell it. Knowingly directing the firm at true statements or at lawful opinion is a breach of these terms and may expose you to liability to the poster.

5. No guarantee of outcome

Platforms and posters make their own decisions. The firm does not promise that any review will be removed or retracted and does not promise any litigation result. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

6. Accounts and security

Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. The firm may suspend an account used to harass, to upload unlawful content, or to submit matters the firm has declined.

7. Referral arrangements

Where another law firm refers you, any division of fees is disclosed to you in writing and requires your consent under Rule 4-1.5 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar or the equivalent rule of the referring firm's state.

8. Jurisdiction

The firm's attorneys are licensed in Florida. Matters requiring court action in another state are handled with local counsel, and you will be told before any such engagement. These terms are governed by Florida law; venue for any dispute is Leon County, Florida.

9. Changes

The firm may update these terms; the date above changes when it does. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
